The Lion- No Matter The Economy of The Jungle

People sometimes say that life is unfair. Life challenges have a way of making a man lose hope and live sub-standard, accepting just anything no matter how demeaning. That is where defeat begins- from the mind of course. Our attitude to life and the way we think affects what we achieve, that is why the saying, “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he”.

Let us take a moral from the Lion. The lion lives in a group called Pride. It is regarded as the king of the forest. Every animal dreads it. It does not feed on animals already killed. It kills its prey and feeds on it. It is much undaunted and approaches life without fear. The lion said and I quote: "no matter the economy of the jungle, I can never eat grass, it is not pride; it is just who I am". The lion is not engineered to eat grass. Period!

Turning Trash to Treasures - The Work of Creativity

We have trash all around us. Trash is detestable. They appear worthless and are a source of concern as they supposedly pose danger to the environment. However, a little work of creativity can turn the trash all around to treasures untold. This is the case with a Los Angeles sculptor and artist Cynthia Minet.

Cynthia Minet is a sculptor who also loves animals and her environment. She teaches Arts classes at Moorpark College California. Minet specializes in creating glow-in-the-dark animals (beautiful works of art). These wonderful creations are made of re-cycled and repurposed plastics. She bends and shapes plastic junks into oxen, elephants, camels, dogs and more.

The Life Worth Living- Putting Smiles on Faces

A life well lived is the life worth living. Life is not about self-satisfaction. True life is a life of influence. Sometimes, living to see other people satisfied is satisfying in itself. Our happiness lies in the happiness of others. When we engage in services to make other people comfortable, we create value and indirectly create the wealth that people run after. Money is a reward for value created.
Now, let’s see this story I read: A group of people attended a seminar. Suddenly, the speaker stopped and started giving each one a balloon. Each was asked to write his name on his balloon with a marker pen. Afterwards, the speaker gathered all the balloons and placed them together in a room. The delegates were then let into the room at once and asked to locate the balloon, which had their names written on it within five minutes

The Future of Automobiles- Electric Vehicles?

Steam Engine
The world has seen great transformations and substantial development in the automobile industry over the centuries. Automobiles date as far back as the 18th century. The mid 18th Century saw the advent of the steam-powered vehicles. The conventional Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles were birthed in the 19th century. The 19th century also was the advent of electric vehicles (EV). However, due to the ready availability of petroleum products, the lowering cost of production of ICE cars with respect to others, and the invention of electric kick-starters, the ICE became the preferred automobile type and gained prominence. This caused a decline in the research and production of the steam and the electric powered vehicles. That notwithstanding, the ICE has a disadvantage: it constitutes environmental hazards, which pose serious threat.
